Project
is simply the Body of Christ at work, preparing and delivering
meals to hungry people

Hungry people are everywhere. Why, in this land of abundance, I cannot
understand. Hungry people are on the streets, under bridges, in our schools
and in nearly every neighborhood, even many of the upscale ones. The Square
Meal Project
is a Christian response to that FACT
.
The Square Meal Project was our very first project and one near and dear to
the hearts of all those originally involved with this ministry. Over time we
have developed a great deal of information about this effort, in its various

The Name - The Square Meal Project
As we became involved in feeding hungry people, we realized that much of the food available to hungry people was low quality, processed food most mothers would not want their children eating. As a result of that we knew we wanted our meals to be very tasty and deliver a high amount of protein, vitamins and minerals.
Along the way we developed protein-rich recipes and prepared the food for the streets we
cut most of the servings into squares. My wife, Julia, thought about that and
she came up with the name The Square Meal Project.
