What?Divine Resourcing is engaged in Food Rescue as opposed to operating as a Food Bank.
We have no vested interest in Where?When?Why?How?Divine Resourcing is a food rescue organization. This is differentiated from a food bank in that we deal mainly with perishables, not canned goods. We have no vested interest in keeping the food as we merely transport it to those in need. Our service eliminates the need to coordinate multiple calls to groups/ministries for food pickups. What we provide is additional sorting of the spoils and safe refrigerated transportation. After the sorting process we transport your food to shelters, recovery centers, and other groups in the region that are in need of supplies for street outreach and feeding. Our reach is from Gainesville to South Atlanta and growing each week. We are well versed in Trader Joes store opening procedures and can be on board during a store opening to provide relief from the chaos thsat will inevitably ensue upon opening day. We can be on call during this process for unexpected pickups and will gladly take calls from stores at any hour of the day. If at any time another group approaches your store inquiring about a donation you can put them in contact with us and we will handle it for you. No need for you to get sidetracked from your daily duties at your post. Our Food Rescue Program is based on the simple concept of collecting and delivering unused portions of fresh and nutritious food to people in need. These efforts are privately funded. Services are provided to the organizations/groups free of charge. We don't charge anyone for anything - We are performing Personal Ministry, THIS IS NOT A COMMERCIAL BUSINESS!!!!!!.
